As we near one of the largest events of the year, Limited Drag Radial only has two more chances to lock in points for the ProCharger World Championship for the 2018 season!
Diamond Pistons No Mercy 9 at South Georgia Motorsports Park in Cecil, Georgia is next weekend and could very well be the turning points in someone’s championship hunt or could demolish hopes of claiming a title. No Mercy is expected to have one of the largest car counts of the year for the LDR class and has a $5,000 to Win payout sitting there awaiting the elite eight remaining in eliminations. We want to give a huge thank you to Strange Engineering, UPR Products and MacFab Performance Beadlocks for supporting the LDR class and a shoutout to Donald Long for providing a top quality place to race for our racers and being a part of the ProCharger Championship Series.
As of now, Shane Stack continues to lead the overall points standings over Daniel Pharris, Jody Voyles, Matt Bell and Paul Gargus rounds out the top five in the total season points standings. As most know, each racer is able to drop two races off their overall points standings which will be their two worst finishes of the year, rather it is a no-show or a low point total event. When factoring in the drop races, Daniel Pharris is leading the way by the narrowest of margins over Shane Stack, Paul Gargus is sitting in the third spot while Jody Voyles and Jason Etheridge are tied for fourth and Matt Bell is sitting in fifth.
A lot can change at SGMP, there is one thing for certain – you never know what’s going to happen and that race definitely shows No Mercy. Best of luck of all of our LDR racers and teams in the next to last ProCharger Championship Series event of 2018! To view the PDF file of complete points breakdown per race, CLICK HERE.
